Like many scientific journal publishers, market demands were driving ACS to find a way to publish more journals, in more formats while improving content quality and reducing publication time.
Scientific and scholarly publishing processes are complex and need to manage large page volumes and the inclusion of special scientific elements such as complex tables, MathML equations, referee lists and chemistry charts. GPSL worked to overcome these complexities and deliver an automated solution to expedite steps in the publishing process, allowing scientific research output to reach readers faster.
