GPSL to support S1000D Issue 5.0 in S1000D for PTC Windchill

We are excited to confirm that we will support S1000D Issue 5.0 in a 2020 release of S1000D for PTC Windchill.

We acquired the S1000D product from PTC in June. Our first update to that product is due for release in November 2019 and aligns the product to the new Windchill 11.2 release.

We are also committed to updating the product to support legacy S1000D Issues 2.3 and 3.0 in future releases.

Our decision to support the new S10000D Issue 5.0 and these legacy versions supports our commitment to helping A&D organisations manage the challenge of working with multiple versions of the S1000D standard on current and future projects.

As well as continuing to develop S1000D for PTC Windchill, we remain the sole support provider for all users of PTC’s legacy LBS S1000D solution.

About S1000D for PTC Windchill

S1000D for Windchill automates complex S1000D processes and enables customers to link digital engineering and service data. This integration ensures parts lists and service content are up-to-date and guarantees their compliance with the S1000D technical specification.
